The city
As the capital of Spain, Madrid is the governmental and commercial centre where
you can find everything under the sun: world class museums, fine restaurants, great nightlife, theatres, shops etc., there is something in Madrid for everyone.
Madrid lies on the central plateau of Spain at a height of approximately 650m and has hot summers and cold winters. Whatever the season you plan on visiting, Madrid is an excellent destination to visit year round and we hope that you too will save a special place in your heart for this magic city.
Babylon Idiomas Madrid
Babylon Idiomas Madrid is centrally located in the "Barrio de las Letras" (The Writers' Neighbourhood), where most of Spanish famous writers (such as Lope de Vega, Quevedo, Góngora, etc) used to live here.
This is one of the liveliest squares in the city and here you will find lots of boutique shops, bars, restaurants and theatres that make Madrid such a special place.
Inside the school, you will find six air-conditioned classrooms, living room with computers, and a book and DVD library.
If you bring your own laptop, wireless LAN access is also available at the school.
